On the eighth day of fighting in Northern Israel/Southern Lebanon, three Arab Israeli residents of Nazareth including two brothers age 3 and 7 were killed by a Hezbollah missile attack. Residents of Nazareth subsequently blamed Israeli government authorities for not providing instructions and broadcasts in Arabic to forewarn residents of the impending attacks. While such information was made widely available in Hebrew, many of the residents of Nazareth only speak Arabic. The residents also claimed that since the bomb sirens did not go off prior to the missile attack, residents did not have sufficient time to reach bomb shelters.
