Dallas Morning News -- Communicating with patients just got a lot easier for the doctors and nurses at Medical Center of McKinney, thanks to the new ClearLink system, a dual handset phone made to assist medical interpretation, provided by CyraCom, a health-care language service provider. Now, with just a push of a few buttons, medical professionals can talk face-to-face with limited and non-English speaking patients by receiving instant translation in more than 150 languages, 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The system allows doctors or nurses to punch in the medical center's identification code and then select a language. While the medical professional holds one handset, the patient holds the other and a translator comes on the line to facilitate their communication.
